Some of the original equipment was surely showing it's age. Out with the old and in with the new.
Some years back a powered sub was added to the system but it had busted off it's mounts and was dangerously bouncing around next to the batteries, which also weren't secured.
Old school. The halogen lamps didn't provide and benefit and were removed with the original tower speakers.
