When our friends at Chuck Spaeth Ford in New Ulm contacted us regarding installing a set of leather upholstery-matching headrest entertainment systems for a brand-new 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum, we knew exactly where to look.
The Vizualogic tablet headrest kits feature an Android-based operating system and can be customized to match just about any factory interior. Every kit includes two automotive-grade Android tablets that are designed to be used in a vehicle. Built with crack- and scratch-resistant touchscreens, they can handle anything a child throws at them. With the built-in Dual-Share feature, content on one tablet can be shared between both.
Having built-in DVD players for both seats means each person can also watch their own favorite disc or download content and watch content from the internal tablet storage. The feature list is long, including a USB port for accessing media files or charging a smartphone. A microphone and camera allow for video chatting when linked with a data connection. Wireless headphones allow you to enjoy your content in peace while the driver enjoys the audio system without any interference. Last but certainly not least, a number of great accessories, such as game controllers, can be added to the system.
When you’re looking for a better choice, stop in at Sweet Sounds and check out our floor demonstration model to see how much more enjoyable your drive can be with a tablet-based headrest system, installed by our professional technicians. Can these fit in a 2014 f150 fx4 supercrew ? How do they hook up ?
Jeff Sweere says
Hello Ryan,
Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately these particular models are no longer available. We have other options available but they do not include tablets like shown here. The other units have DVD players in them. If interested, please give us a call (507-345-8863) and we can gather the rest of the info we need to move forward.
Best regards,
Jeff
