Interior and Exterior Ford Mustang LED Lighting for Owatonna Client

We crafted a custom set of flexible and waterproof RGB LED lights for the interior and exterior of this beautiful 2005 Ford Mustang owned by Rick and his son Matt from Owatonna, MN. The exterior consists of four made-to-length tubes for under the car and one for behind the grill. The interior consists of two LED strip light sections under the dash to light up the floor boards. The entire system is ran via an IR remote control and includes a music sensor to make the lighting dance to the music. The setup only draws 6mA while in idle which allows us to leave the system wired up to constant power so it can be used with or without the key in the ignition.

Rick and Matt had done extensive research online before choosing to have Sweet Sounds perform this entire installation. We explained the benefits of having custom made tubes which were a huge plus on this particular car. We were able to cut each tube to the exact size that allowed us to form around the angles and protrusions on the underside of the vehicle yet maintain incredible and even coverage with the light. Each tube consists of a 3/8″ flexible vinyl tube with a RGB LED light strip installed, soldered connections throughout and a silicone sealant to seal each of the tubes.

Future upgrades may include adding lights to the hood scoop and rear seating area. One of the things we love to do here at Sweet Sounds is to take a clients dreams and desires and turn them into reality. We hit this one out of the park and had a blast while working on it!
